Great. Straight forward visit. He listened to my concerns, calmly explained my results and how they affect me. Appreciate the addition of an “escort nurse” during vulnerable procedures though I felt utterly at ease and trusting.

Paul is very personable and listens to my concerns. I never have to wait long and never feel rushed to get out. He has helped me tremendously with managing my diabetes and encourages me to do better! I appreciate the entire office and the personal care I receive from all of them!!!

My husband recommended this practice after he saw Paul Bowers. I was frustrated after my appointment with Shayna. I had gone in to talk to her about my hypothyroidism and feeling symptomatic and tired. Because of my age (54), she jumped on the possibility that what I was experiencing was all menopause related and said she was so happy I came to see her because she has a certification in menopause something. She ran a battery of tests to get a baseline. I had also wanted her to check out some pain I've been having in the joints of my left hand. She ordered an xray but didn't once look at or examine my hand. When I got the results from the labs it was from an office staff saying the labs were normal and if I wanted to discuss hormone therapy for menopause I could contact her. No one said anything about the xray. I got the results from the patient portal. I did not feel listened to. I have since been to a different doctor who was willing to discuss my thyroid labs and how I was feeling and work with me to feel better.

Shayna took her time during my appointment to educate me, develop an excellent plan for my symptoms of perimenopause and follow up. What I really appreciated was treating my symptoms not chasing lab values. She is excellent and I would recommend her to anyone.

I adore Shayna. She’s the most thorough physician I’ve ever been to. Most physicians rush through the appointment and don’t listen but Shayna really has a conversation with you. She’s also the only doctor that hasn’t immediately suggested birth control to solve irregular cycles. Instead she suggested something more natural which I really appreciate.

Paul is very kind, and is able to actually have a calming influence upon my mind during intense pain flares that last for 3-9 days....pure physical hell.... So we truly appreciate Doc Bowers for that.
Also, the way he listens is wonderful and helpful!
